Beyond the magical arch, the short corridor of enchanted darkness opens into a cool cellar chamber, with thin columns of brick--inadequate and impractical--holding up the roof overhead. To the side, dripping water gathers in a cistern sunk into the floor and ringed by a short wall.

"We're close," Elina whispers, noting the bucket resting on the cistern's wall.

"So are they," Luther mutters, sensing movement in the shadows around them.

Very nice work old boy. Do I detect lurking evildoers? can it be that this operation will not run to plan and that the forces of good will once again find themselves utterly buggered by their dark antagonists?

Luther looks a bit more prepared then the last time he had an encounter with slicing cat claws. His chain mail looks sturdy enough, but he has to protect his face.

As for Elina, hmm .... not much defence capability showing.

Elina: "M'mmmpfh!!"
Callista: "This *next* rope is anchored to your wrist bonds, and I take several turns around your upper body, framing your breasts and pinning your arms to your sides. Then, I cinch the lower bands near your elbows, on either side — yoke your shoulders — pass the free end from your wrist ropes through the strand at the nape of your neck — and *pull*.
E: "Nrmf!!"
C: "Oh... I'm sorry. Is that too tight?"
E: "Mr'nmr'rfh!"
C: "Allrightiethen! I'll make it tighter."

Love the composition of the 3 (4 technically, but I'm not counting kittie-beastie since it's merely a magical extension of Anna) figures across the page. Excellant.:)
