The menacing hand dodges the Scholar's kicking legs and plunges toward her face and neck. With a heave, she is barely able to twist and fend it partly away with her right arm. The motion forces the horror down to her chest where the talons and cold, unliving flesh of the fingers close over cloth and warm skin.

Finished the Stats exams this afternoon. Hopefully we'll get a few more pages coming more swiftly for a few days here. I'm doing the math here and my 'cliffhanger alarm' is going off ... which wouldn't be unprecedented and wouldn't be bad either. This is a particularly great image though - Spiderhand is looking more ominous with each and every frame.
