***********************************************

"I think we may have a problem," Elina says, drawing Luther's attention away from the smoke and fire-lit debris in the chamber they just left.

"Just one?" he responds.

"It seems our Cat Witch has deprived us of our trail, and at a critical juncture, too. I think we can safely assume that the Fair Harvest Inn has caught fire..."

"There's nothing 'safe' about it, Elina."

"True, but the bad news is that this diagram of these cellars and catacombs appears to be quite unreliable at this point."

"Meaning?" Luther frowns.

"We're lost," the Scholar responds, staring into the darkness.

***********************************************

Okay, I'm going to say it first: Yes, I realized after I composed the image and penciled in the basic outline that it would appear that Luther is "checking out the scenery." Well, cut the guy some slack--he's got all these beautiful women working with him, and his lady felt the urge to play "mindgames" with him a year ago... ;) :giggle:

November, 2009: And another observation, Luther and Elina already came across this discarded skirt once, back in "Bare Necessities." [link] Obviously my "editor" was taking a nap when I posted this one. However, I guess, with a slight revision of the narrative text in the artist's comments back on the earlier page, I could fix the whole problem. Note to self: "Wake up!"

Elina was drawn using stock photos provided by Emily, a.k.a. ~Feathered-pics . Thanks a ton, Emily!

One more here, and then we shift places and faces again!

Enjoy!

There's my little scholar!

And, the plot thickens, the tension mounts, nerves are alert and every muscle is pulled taut...

Your work continues to amaze!
