"A 'Runemote'?" Luther questions. "Why would that be so bad?"

Elina turns to the Magistrate's chief agent, her voice a mere whisper. "Because Runemotes are under the constant control of their sorcerous master, and that would mean that whoever is in control of this one knows exactly where we are right now..."

Luther's eyes narrow, watching the Mote slither off through the air. "So what? I think the game was up when the Cat Witch ran off."

Elina shakes her head. "If there's a sorcerer down here capable of creating and managing a Runemote or two, we may likely find that the Cat Witch is the least of our concerns."

Luther shifts nervously. "Well, do we ignore the thing? Turn around now and head back? By now the Magistrate's assault on the Fair Harvest is well underway, and possibly concluded. That blast we felt a while back could be a good sign, or a bad one. What do you suggest?"

Elina purses her lips in thought, raising her dagger to point back at the Mote drifting far off in the shadows of the nearby chambers. "I think we should follow it."

"'Follow it'? But what about what you said--'deadly trap or child,' and all that?"

Elina nods. "I think that either way, deadly trap or lost child, we'll find what we came down here looking for..."

And now we come to another change of scenery. Be careful what you point out on this page--some folks might not like the spoilers blurted out by the more quick of eye... :plotting:

Elina was drawn using stock photos provided by Emily, a.k.a. ~Feathered-pics . Thanks a ton, Emily!

Enjoy!

Nicely hidden hehehe
:iconredpill333:
OOOooo very slick - I almost didn't see it - the contrast between the Dark Pic and the Light DA background made it almost invisible! Wonderful job!

And yes.... she should follow it, follow it to her DOOOOOOM....dangit! I typed that out loud again, didn't I?

Jervil needs no runemote to know where you are, little lady...

I see it. I see it. And this is also the first time I've noticed she has her right shoulder garment torn off.

By change of scenery, can I assume you've found your Drea stock model, since I can't think of any scene you haven't done this chapter yet?
:iconmistersneaky:
I seeeee it! Hee hee hee!

Wow, that sure would be a bad situation, if it really turned out to be a runemote, with some evil sorceror controlling it and using it to spy on them! They sure would be in a tight spot wouldn't they! Good thing it's probably something harmless, that can't do anything crazy, like zap off someones clothes. Silly idea, huh?
:iconfaile35:
Well, within the next 5 pages (I'm thinking), we'll get down to the real nuts and bolts of this chapter. In fact, it'll start with pages 16 and 17. :plotting:

Yes yes... walk INTO the trap, add another lovely to the helpless girls... mwahahaha!!

Oh, sorry, did I say that out loud? =^_^=

She turned out very pretty. I might have personally thinned the neck for this angle regardless of original reference, but only slightly. Her eyes turned out super realistic
