Bound as tightly as she already is, the Scholar knows the small fiend will make short work of her if she does not counter the rope's enchantment. Quickly and nimbly, the gremlin places the rope around her neck and in one smooth motion is planting its feet on the ground beside her, drawing the noose tight. Instead of thrashing, Elina calls forth the images and sigils, the gestures and words for a spell to counter the magic coursing through the stiff cord. "Lindiretris Filgi - Filgor Lindiro..." she chants, repeating the words aloud and then in a whisper as the gremlin's noose draws tight. She feels the sorcerous energy drawn from her inner source to the fingers of her left hand as the spell takes shape...
