It never makes sense when the "Ideologically Sensitive" get into a snit. Luckily, every day their ability to intimidate the rest of us diminishes. If you have a historical perspective, as I do, you can actually see it happening, and it's accelerating.
Alarmed because of how many years the perspective is now including, and because of how outdated much of the perspective is (rotary dial telephones, anyone?). I guess the alternative is not so desirable, of course, but growing older does contain the element of "Holy Crap! I'm 45!!" to it...
