Taking a break from the mural today, and I thought I'd put up something from the Black Canvas I: Art from the Shadows collection of my inkworks. [link]
Don't know much about this one, other than the fact that I both like and dislike how her hair and cloak wrap her head in shadow and somehow set it apart from her body. The dress and cape/cloak worked out well, though, and I am quite fond of the dark and hungry look on her face. Note: Another female figure appears in my artwork without getting tied up, tethered, chained, or frightened! Fully clothed, no less! It's a Red-Letter Day! An alternate and somewhat crude title that has been floating around my head is "Stolen Gem and Jewels"... Sorry. Enjoy! |

There is no way to measure an artist, or their work, because nothing matters, but their vision. Their acceptance by the rest of the world is merely external.
She's got a good workout program going, huh? It looks like she has abs XD

What I sort of dislike, is the dress, right above the breasts, it looks kinda weird.. at least to me..

A Master/Mistress is like a Gardner. His/Her submissve is his/her greatest achievment. A perfect seed that he/she nurtures, cares for, guiding it's growth so that it blossoms into the most extrordinary and unique flower, that blooms always and forever.
I'm not sure about the gem shape/facets...but then I'm not a jewel cutter
A good followup piece would be her looking at an image projected within/through the gem. Perhaps the hunger is not for the gem that she holds, but for the treasure it is revealing to her.
Or perhaps she is a powerful mage using the magic of the gem to scry on an old adversary... a villian in another of your stories? Or perhaps she is looking for her wayward apprentice who vanished recently?
Lots of ideas here. Hope I sparked a few!
