In the midst of a field of flame the haunted man stands, his hair and cape ruffled by the billowing heat of crops now turning to ash. He keeps a careful eye on the brand gripped in his gloved fist. Though he was promised that its enchantment would endure and its fires burn only as he commanded, he has little trust for such sorceries and keeps its heat extended out from his person.

“The sooner this is done,” he mutters to himself, “the better.”

“Milord Luther,” a voice calls above the crackle and roar of the burning crops behind him. A figure approaches and detaches itself from the columns of billowing smoke and the heat-twisted shapes of the soldiers working within, the members of the Vandermoor House Guard armed with enchanted brands like that held by the haunted man. “Milord Luther,” the newcomer calls again, drawing near to the haunted man’s shoulder.

We continue on our short detour from Avora's mission. Luther was drawn using the references provided by Mistersneaky . He had that grim-face-in-harsh-lighting thing down. Thank you, "Sneaky!"
