No, it's not a tender moment for these two. Luther is actually saying essentially, "There, there, Zirena. Just relax. Yes, I was a fool to come back here, thinking you would help me. And I was a fool years ago, to trust you as I did. But, fool that I am, I have learned what it takes to harness the power of your vision. Thanks to your hatred of me, your vicious bite has just completed that process; you've seen, heard, touched, smelled, and now tasted this handkerchief, which is the only bit of evidence I still have from the elusive villain who gave me this scar two years ago. I know that outlaw is somehow connected to the Fair Harvest Inn, and I want to know how. Find that connection, Zirena. Tell me what you see..."

Essentially, however, what I've written here will tell anyone enough about how Zirena's visionary powers work. If all five of her senses are stimulated strongly by an object of importance, her sixth sense will kick in and show her where that object fits into the larger picture, observing connections between it and other things suggested to her.

Notice that I have only used ink on Zirena's face and some of her jewelry--I am fading the images here as her senses are withdrawn into her vision.

And, yes, that is a little softening of Luther's face you might detect. He does have some feelings for her...
