Web of Betrayal Page103 by faile35

And, breathlessly, Maladyne feels her inner storm subsiding, to be replaced by a vision of abject horror without. "You made me see things..." the next voice speaks, but quietly, barely heard above the roar and hiss of flame, and the screams of the dying. "So much to be seen, heard, felt, and remembered, but this is what you placed before me, High Lady."

Maladyne gasps through the gag, as all about her she feels the heat of the fire. Dernhem is consumed in the blaze, and a lead around her neck pulls her bound form through the inferno of each street. Enveloped in flames, figures stumble and fall about her, their cries never quite ceasing as they are incinerated. And, try as she might, Maladyne cannot close her eyes to block out the scene anymore than she can free her bound arms or speak through the horrid gag.

"Know me," the voice continues. "I am Ziri Nea Azagra, but for this 'gift' of sight, I am the Madame Zirena."

This is the fourth of six images, all with a fairly similar, familiar theme. Long-term viewers of this monolithic production might immediately guess what the next two images will contain, and... they'd probably be right... :plotting:

Maladyne was again drawn using the awesome reference material provided to me by minokura . She gave me some great "pained expression" photos that made this one possible, in particular the intense squinting of her eyes.

Enjoy! =)

Note: Web of Betrayal and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment of this kind toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.
