All too quickly, Callista is drawn dangerously high into the tower's center, the polished floor spinning far below. As she strains to look above her for the source of the voice and its snare, she sees the massive chandelier at the top of the tower flare to life, its structure shifting in a dance of limbs to draw the solid filament upwards. The dizzying motion causes the blond thief to swing
pendulum-like from side to side as she soars higher.

When one-point perspective involves only right angles, it tends to develop visual distortions toward the edges, but when it involves several different angle measurements and their intersections, things get a bit tricky. I think I pulled it off okay here, all things considered, but it was an exercise on the coordinated efforts of eye, hand, and mind. A fun exercise, but still and exercise. My favorite part was still drawing the little figure of Callista there down the middle, all fairly helpless and... uh... "dependent." ;)

Enjoy! =)

Note: Web of Betrayal and Demon's Due are a work of fantasy and fiction. The artist/creator in no way condones real mistreatment of this kind toward any woman or man, by living person, gremlin, plant, assassin, ratman, viscous fluid, programmed device, animated home furnishings, or otherworldly spiritual beings. Furthermore, the artist opposes the marginalizing and restriction of women in general by any institution, political and/or religious, including those which have individual women amongst their membership touting/promoting their own happiness within that institution as evidence that ALL women should feel the same way. This includes the religion I was raised in and which I have utterly discarded from my life over this and other issues.
