The Hellbinder looms up again behind the Scholar, rope lengths caressing and twining possessively about her as the creature raises its massive, taloned hand into her view. Deep within, Elina feels the collective being's hold tightening on her spirit, drawing energy from her womb through the rune marking her flesh. "Antoronax Gius Primadis," the Hellbinder chants at her ear, the great claw flexing and closing into a grasping fist as the sorcerous incantation takes shape, the magical power driving the substance of idea into the Scholar's mind. The mirror's face instantly darkens in transition, and the Hellbinder repeats its chant. "Antoronax Gius Primadis," it speaks. "'Return.'"

Beginning to end, this one was fun. Again, I held off on adding the stripes to Elina's back, butt, and thighs because I wasn't sure if I wanted them in there, and it's much easier to digitally add than to take away.

Also, in order to go forward with the story (and the main section of this chapter), I am currently finishing up the Luther pages that were previewed in Bookbinding a while back. They'll finish with the revelation of a rather large piece of the puzzle that has heretofore been referred to a bit, but which should make some things more clear. I intend to put more of this Elina mirror sequence in as well over the next week--enough to give everyone an idea about what's coming. Then we'll finish up the Elina vignette with a couple of images and finally get to the meat of Web of Betrayal.
