The Hellbinder’s hand flexes, and the ghostly choral voice utters three syllables of melodic, sorcerous speech. ”Ag Thaer Sei.”  The Scholar’s leash disappears from its grip, and with a slow flourish, the creature sweeps across the open floor toward the vanished Chief Scribe. The Scholar and Proxim Magistrate watch the winged figure go, the High Lord’s hand rising in a gesture of open inquiry.

“Mystical tricks,” Ordiel mutters uncertainly. “How do we know if the issue was resolved-…?”

Three more to go in this scene, and I've got the next one finished and am now working on the second. Going to be cool to have this scene done and behind me at long last.
