***********************************************

Meanwhile, not far enough away, Annalae had regathered a few of her feline cohorts. And it was with some relief that she succeeded in finding the secret crawlspace leading to Jervil's storeroom. It was time to repair the disrupted link between herself and the Cat Shade, and then she'd see to Luther and his meddlesome scholar sidekick...

***********************************************

Lindsey provided the stock photo for Annalae here. Thanks, Lindsey! =)

And, with this image, I must say how unfair life can be--it just doesn't seem right that a guy like myself can get to work, drawing beauty like this. All the stock models I work with, Lindsey included, really are a pleasure to draw. I guess if I was getting paid a lot of money, that might make it even better, but honestly, I'm not complaining. If at my death people say, "He drew a lot of beautiful women but didn't make a lot of money doing it," that'll be in harmony with my values.

Enjoy!

So far, I have loved every single model you have used - their expressions, their dynamic poses...Well, all except one: Faile-something-or-other?
Judging from the illustration, he has one ugly face.
Oh, wait, maybe that wasn't the part used for stock...

 Well, that's what I get for checking in one last time before I hit the sack. Insulted. ;) Yeah, that "faile" guy should stick to stock models that people want to look at, and that's for sure and for certain.

Thanks! I'm glad you've enjoyed the other models. =)

Actually, something you are good at is faithful translation from reality to illustration. Your backgrounds are great for feel, your stories are wonderfully twisty, and your model images really do have great expressions.

There, hope that makes up for the insult - and I didn't even have to lie! I'm really enjoying your story.

You do the ladies justice and they serve you well with their "composure". It's a good life/hobby, I would imagine.
Concerning the fabric against her bosom: would it really cling to her body like that? Seems like between her breasts the cloth would "sag" at least a little. But then again, I'm not there and I especially didn't draw this, so what do I know? Evidently very little. :)

I was intending to show the fabric hanging away from her breasts a little--perhaps the mistake in it is the darkness of the various lines in that area. The underside of her right breast is visible as the left-hand part of the dark line at the base of her chest, while the right-hand portion of that same curving line is actually the outline of the shift resting over the top of her left breast. It's a bit visually confusing, I think. Ah well.

Thanks for the comment! =)

I don't know if I'm noticing now, but the cat's eyes being all glowy, nice touch.

Oh, she found a nice, secluded spot to stroke her pussy.

. . .

Well, I'm curious to see just how one repairs a faulty Catshade. Cat-sacrifice? Magic ritual? "Borrowing" Jervil alchemical supplies?

And Jeff, don't complain about getting to work with beautiful young women. It just doesn't seem right. :)

Nice! I like the kitties. Anna still seems a bit spooked or wary but methinks that she's beginning to think about vengeance in the good old fashion of villains "Those pathetic interlopers! I'll ruin them! I'll have my Cat Shade feast on their living hearts!.. " and all that jazz ;).

 She is indeed feeling more confident at this point, and in the case of villains, with confidence comes that ever-loving thirst for malicious, life-ruining vengeance... :plotting: Thanks!

Ah, I see. I really need to start reading your journal entries more often. :stupidme: I am more of a visual guy, so sometimes amazing art like yours makes me bypass text and get to the good stuff. Basically, I was "that guy" who'd buy a comic book and look through the pictures before I read it. ;-)

I like how the pencil texture follows all of the surfaces and perspective- it is such a nice affect, sort of drawing the eyes around like a current inside the composition.

The composition itself is really strange, off balance, and it definitely seems to make it feel more tense.
