Valerin's thoughts are interrupted by a noise that shatters the stillness of the shadows. Somewhere in the darkness at the chamber's edge, a moving thing scuffles against the bricks on the wall, though as the warrior freezes and turns, wide eyes searching the wall of black behind her, it dies off immediately.

I haven't posted two drawings in a single day for a while, so here you go.
