This is starting to look a lot more like the Twisted Plot folks were expecting, I think. The next page is one that is not traditionally finished yet--there are only about 16 of them left at this point. Even with that, I should be able to get it posted pretty quickly. As ever, Avora was drawn from the wonderful reference material provided by Viator-Defessus and the model "Ava."Didn't even really modify her pose with this one.

Instead, Avora is stopped short, her breath choked off by the vulture clasp that is pulled tight. She backs up and turns, breath ragged, to find the cause of the trouble. Closed like a tight fist about the cape’s far end she sees a coiled mass of the same roots that had tripped her up. “Tankroot trees!” she blurts, growling, But, familiar as she is with the functions of such unique plants, she has never seen them working with such speed, strength, or coordination. The layers of detected sorcery are now all too apparent in their function.
