As with Rats, Part 1, availability at Amazon.uk will follow soon, while Amazon.ca has yet to carry Rats, Part 1. There are eight bonus images, one of which was inspired/demanded by Tim's narrative (really delicious). At 158 pages, it's thicker than Part 1, too, and full of "naughty bits."

A few details about this publication.
* It's 164 pages in length (Rats in the Cellar, Part 1 was 134 pages, and Rats in the Cellar, Part 2 was 158 pages ).
* It contains 7 bonus images (Rats in the Cellar, Part 1 had 3 bonus images, and Rats in the Cellar, Part 2 had 6 bonus images).
* The adult content included in the bonus imagery is... much more "adult" than in the previous volumes. In collared-by-faile 's words, "It's steamy."
* The narrative is roughly 14,500 words in length (Rats in the Cellar, Part 1 had a narrative around 10,250 words long, and
Also, collared-by-faile has a Facebook account set up where she'll be posting status updates for what we're working on. It's mostly just to catalog for ourselves what we're doing, but if you'd like to follow along, send a friend request to her www.deviantart.com/users/outgo… . If, while you're there you want to play FarmVille with her, just send a neighbor request. She's nerdy like that.
"Demon's Due" is a dark fantasy story set in an imaginary world somewhat like Medieval Europe. Unlike Medieval Europe, however, most of the prominent roles are taken by women. Why? Because it's my story, and I like to draw women far more than I like to draw men. I am a straight man, after all, so, "alternative lifestyles" notwithstanding, that should come as no surprise to anyone.
"Demon's Due" is about a group of women struggling for and/or against each other and "the law," sometimes with the aid of male characters and sometimes in spite of it. Sexuality is a subject that comes up fairly regularly (in the form of nudity, intimacy, allusions, and as a plot device), and therefore "Demon's Due" has lots of adult themes and images, some of which could be offensive. So be cautioned before you go diving into it. Also, all of the characters represented in the nude are at least 18 years of age (in reality, and in the context of the story). Let me clarify here and now that, other than a few nicks and scratches and rope burns, no female character will be physically harmed in this storyline--the idea of a woman in real physical pain and peril sickens me, so the story is limited to bondage and nudity, and psychological peril (and there is plenty of that). Obviously, since this is DA, there will be no graphic sex, even if some sexual activity is implied beneath the covers.
"Demon's Due" is broken up into chapters, of which there will be 10 - 12. All told, the entire story will be pushing 1000 pages when complete. Currently, I have about 800 of them done. At this time, the chapters are titled and ordered as follows:
Chapter One: Rats in the Cellar (111 pages)
Chapter Two: Twisted Plot (original is 34 pages, but the revision is underway)
Chapter Three: Fair Harvest (58 pages)
Chapter Four: Vision Impaired (49 pages)
Chapter Five: Bare Necessities (98 pages)
Chapter Six: Catcall (51 pages)
Chapter Seven: Coils of Fate (128 pages)
Chapter Eight: Barred Entry (this chapter will take up most of Elina's story that adds significantly to the bulk of Coils of Fate all the way to Elina's stripping and capture/escape in the first half of Bookbinding).
Chapter Nine: Bookbinding (238+ pages, but will actually be less than that when the first portion up to the Hall of Judgment is moved into Barred Entry).
Chapter Ten: Web of Betrayal (a 9 page Prologue and 8+ pages)
Chapter Eleven: Duals
(Coming next year)
Chapter Twelve: Chain of Events
I have used other non-DA photos and images for references for faces and body parts and such in several of the pictures in the first two chapters, while in Chapter Three the use of DA Stock Models begins to take over. I am quite pleased to be working with a group of cool stock models who have shared great visions and ideas with me about the future of "Demon's Due." DA Stock models whose images have shown up in the storyline at this point include Natalie Paquette (a.k.a. "fetishfaerie-stock"), Emily Eshelman (a.k.a. "feathered-pics"), Rachel Jacobi, Adeline Debaire (a.k.a. "perditax31"), Lindsey (a.k.a "Lizzy-Barry"), and Geekhyena .
Numerous people have offered suggestions about the costumes and look of the characters involved. Michelle (a.k.a. MichelleMH ) has helped me out quite a bit with costumes and design, particularly that of Madame Zirena and Maladyne. Thanks, Michelle!
New Statistics are being calculated for the hardcopy publications, and they are more accurate than those below. The graph is available at the following link:
The old statistics follow.
On a whim, I went through and counted up the pages in which each character of the story made an appearance (not including bloopers and scraps). Then I counted how many of those pages did not involve action shots (I'll call these "character development") versus those that do. Then I counted the number of pages in which the character was a captive (either defeated and dead, or an official captive, or a mock captive). And finally I counted the number of pages in which the character was partially nude. I don't know what interesting insights someone can make of this information, but here it is:
(Listed by Total Number of Appearances)
Total Appearances: 224. Eighty-six of those (40%) are "character development," while she struggles (physically or intellectually) in 89 of them (41%), and she is an official captive in 49 of them (16%). She is shown at least partially nude in 57 of them (23%).
The Demon (Jervil, Hellbinder, etc.)
Total Appearances: 204. One hundred thirty-one of those are "character development" (65%), while he is in 72 action shots (34%), and is never an official captive (0%). He is at least partially nude in three of them (2%).
High Lady Drea Aliandis
Total Appearances: 130. Seventy-one of those (55%) are "character development," while she struggles in 28 of them (22%), and she is an official captive in 31 of them (24%). She is at least partially nude in 63 of them (48%).
Total Appearances: 110. Fifteen of these (14%) are "character development", while she fights/struggles in 60 (55%) of them, and she is an official captive in 35 of them (32%). She is at least partially nude in 61 pages (55%).
Total Appearances: 108. Forty-seven of those (44%) are "character development," while she's in 44 action shots (41%), and is an official captive in 22 of them (20%). She is at least partially nude in 48 of them (46%), although that skin-tight catsuit works just as well...
Total Appearances: 92. Thirty-six of those (39%) are "character development," while she struggles in 17 of them (18%), and she is an official (or mock) captive in 39 of them (42%). She is at least partially nude in 46 of them (50%).
Total Appearances: 76. Fifty-seven of those (75%) are "character development," while he's fighting in 16 of them (21%). While he is never an official captive, he's defeated (and dying) in three of them (4%). He's partially nude (shirtless, at least) in four of them (5%).
Total Appearances: 65. Eleven of those (17%) are "character development," while she's in action in 30 (46%) of them, and she is an official captive in 24 of them (37%). She is at least partially nude in 42 pages (65%).
Total Appearances: 65. Twenty-six of those (40%) are "character development," while she has 22 action shots (34%), and she is an official captive in 17 (26%). She is at least partially nude in 50 pages (77%).
Total Appearances: 52. Thirty of those (58%) are "character development," while she struggles in 4 of them (8%), and she is an official captive in 17 of them (33%). She is at least partially nude in 18 of them (35%).
Total Appearances: 60. Thirty-four of those (57%) are "character development," while he's in action in 16 of them (27%). While he's never an official captive, he's defeated (and/or "zombified") in 10 of them (17%). He's never partially nude (0%).
Total Appearances: 15. Fourteen of those (93%) are "character development," while she struggles in none of them (0%), and she is an official captive in one of them (7%). She is at least partially nude in one of them (7%). Maladyne will be showing up with increasing frequency over this chapter and the next, so I'll get her stats up and running now.
The Late Anjerome Villios
Total Appearances: 14. They are all "character development," while he struggles in none of them (0%), and he is an official captive in none of them (0%). He hasn't really been nude, but, well... I don't know what to say about the rest of this.
Total Appearances: 7. They are all "character development," while he struggles in none of them (0%), and he is an official captive in none of them (0%). He hasn't been nude in any of them (0%).
Total Appearances: 6 ("in person"), but more than that through statues, murals, and such.
And here are a few of my sketches for upcoming characters in the series, some of which we've already seen at this point.
Also, the spoiler-filled backstory for Luther and Zirena is recorded in this journal entry of mine. faile35.deviantart.com/journal…
